OXNARD, Calif. — The Olympic flame has been extinguished. The Paris Olympics have concluded. Now, the world turns its attention towards Los Angeles for the 2028 Summer Games.

I'm sorry, fans. Raygun and breakdancing will not grace any stages. However, American football will be introduced to the world: Flag football has been approved and will make its Olympic debut.

The prevailing question is, will the NFL permit players to represent their countries in the Games? If so, some NFL players would accept the opportunity to compete for Olympic gold.

Rams running back Kyren Williams and defensive back Tre’Davious White expressed the willingness to play if asked.

"I feel like I could contribute a lot to the game, for sure," White said. "When I did flag, I was pretty good at it."

Dallas Cowboys defensive back Trevon Diggs also confirmed that he would participate if asked.

“Oh yeah, no question," Diggs said. "For sure."
