The Angels and Rangers are set to face off in the third game of four on Saturday afternoon. Tyler Anderson (10-12, 3.55 ERA) takes the mound for Los Angeles. He faces Texas right-hander Jack Leiter (0-2, 11.78 ERA), son of the legendary Al Leiter.

Injury news: Prior to Saturday's contest, the Angels placed both OF Kevin Pillar (left thumb sprain) and OF Jo Adell (left oblique strain) on the 10-day IL. They also transferred RHP Jose Soriano to the 60-day IL. To replace Pillar and Adell, the team has recalled OF Jordyn Adams from Triple-A Salt Lake and selected the contract of OF Bryce Teodosio.

Teodosio will seemingly provide much more value on the defensive end, while Adams seems to have more potential to impact the game with his bat. In 123 games at Triple-A Salt Lake this season, he's hitting .261 with 10 home runs and 58 RBI. It will be his first stint up with the Angels this season after appearing in 17 games last year and recording five hits.

First pitch is scheduled for 4:05 p.m.
