Rob Jalón is a sports writer based in Los Angeles. His first word was goal, and his love for soccer and sports runs extremely deep. It has taken a Latino kid from watching the World Cup 2014, where he decided to get into sports journalism, to covering El Tráfico, Copa América, MLS Cup, and everything in between. He was born in L.A., and now gets to cover the six-time MLS Cup champion Los Angeles Galaxy daily. He hopes to grow soccer in Los Angeles and become a trusted source of sports news in the city.
