The Los Angeles Rams star Davante Adams and his wife, Devanne Adams, celebrated her 33rd birthday on Wednesday. After years of enduring partnership, the veteran playmaker highlighted the family photos on Instagram.
Adams shared the snaps of his wife, along with their three children.
"Happy Birthday love…grateful to have experienced so many of these years with you," Adams wrote on Wednesday.
The post celebrated a relationship that began in 2012 while they were students at California State University, Fresno, including Adams' time as a star for the Bulldogs.
Villarreal was reportedly surprised by the proposal, having dated the receiver for five years before the trip to the Bahamas.
Along with the engagement, the couple also announced they were officially getting married on June 2, 2018, at a ceremony in Pebble Beach, California.
Villarreal wore a custom gown designed by Vera Wang for the occasion.
The family has since expanded to include three children. They include eldest daughter Daija Leigh, second daughter Dezi Lynn, and son Drayson James.
Villarreal served as a stable anchor during the receiver's transitions across four different NFL teams.
Six-time Pro Bowler played for four different NFL teams during his career. The receiver spent his first eight seasons with the Green Bay Packers before transitioning to the Las Vegas Raiders and New York Jets.
"I jumped around a few different times and tried a few things, but that’s what my heart truly told me to do," Adams explained.
The move to Los Angeles in March 2025 was heavily influenced by Rams head coach Sean McVay, including a shared offseason trip to Japan.
While the transition to Hollywood was professional, the move allowed Villarreal and their three children to relocate back to their native California.
Davante Adams vows to finish strong with Rams
Davante Adams played 14 games during the 2025 regular season. He finished with 60 receptions, 789 yards, and 14 touchdowns, while becoming the first player to lead the league in receiving TDs with three franchises.
Recently, Adams signaled a commitment to finishing his career with the Rams organization on The Stephen A. Smith Show, saying:
"I don’t care what you seen me do,” Adams said. “Or if it’s a coach that you always really wanted to play for. I always tell them the same thing over in this building — ‘It ain’t greener than this’."
Adams, however, has been dealing with multiple injuries of late. A head injury forced him into concussion protocol during the victory over the Panthers before he began recovering from a hamstring issue.
