First Pick: Under 6.5 Goals

Rundown: Connor Bedard and the Chicago Blackhawks (11–9–5) head to Paradise for a showdown with Jack Eichel and the Vegas Golden Knights (11–6–8) at T-Mobile Arena. Both clubs have leaned toward lower-scoring games this season, with 14 of their matchups finishing under the projected 6.5-goal total.

Chicago has been steady at both ends, sitting 12th in goals scored and 11th in goals allowed. Vegas finds itself in a similar spot, ranking 18th in offense and 13th in goals against. Historically, goal scoring has been tight when Chicago visits T-Mobile Arena — only six of their 14 games there have cleared the 6.5 total. With both teams battling for offense and playing sound structure defensively, expect a grind-it-out matchup where quality chances come at a premium.

Second Pick: Capitals Moneyline

Rundown: The Los Angeles Kings (12-6-7) host the all-time leading scorer in NHL history Alex Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals (15-9-2) in a clash from the Crypto.com Arena. Washington enters tonight's matchup red hot with four straight wins and victories in seven of its last eight games.

The Capitals have found success offensively and defensively, ranking in the top five in both goals scored and goals allowed. With 88 goals in 25 games (3.4 per game), Washington owns the NHL’s No. 4 ranked scoring offense. Washington has dominated its last two road matchups, winning by an average margin of 3.5 goals. Look for Washington to stay hot and extend their win streak to five.

Third Pick: Wild Moneyline

Rundown: The Minnesota Wild (14-7-5), winners of nine of their last 11, look to stay hot tonight as they square off with Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers (11-10-5) at Rogers Place.

Tonight’s matchup features strength versus strength: Edmonton’s ninth-ranked offense will test a Minnesota blue line that also ranks ninth in goals allowed. For the Wild to steal a road win, staying disciplined is essential. The Oilers boast the NHL’s third-best power play at 30.16%, and Minnesota can’t afford to give McDavid and company extra looks with the man-advantage.

Minnesota’s winning formula has been simple. Defense. Twelve of their 14 victories have come when holding opponents to two goals or fewer. Combine that with 22 power-play goals (second most in the league), and the Wild are well-positioned to leave Edmonton with their 10th win in its last 12 games.
