Rams-Seahawks Preview Capsule: Top prop players to watch taken in Los Angeles (Los Angeles Rams)

Ric Tapia - The Sporting Tribune

Matthew Stafford #9 of the Los Angeles Rams celebrates a touchdown during the game against the San Francisco 49ers at Levi’s Stadium on November 9, 2025 in Santa Clara, California.

It's an NFC West battle at SoFi, where the first-place Seattle Seahawks visit the Los Angeles Rams. As of now, despite both teams coming in with identical 7-2 marks, the 'Hawks are the division leader and hold the second seed in the NFC.

The Rams are sitting in fifth place in the NFC, holding the top Wild Card spot, just in front of the Chicago Bears.

This one has the makings of a shootout between quarterbacks Matthew Stafford and Sam Darnold.

Here's a quick glance at Sunday's game:

TV: FOX

LAST TIME OUT: Seahawks 44-22 win over Arizona; Rams 42-26 win at San Francisco.

LAST MEETING: Seahawks 30-25 at Los Angeles on Jan. 5.

VEGAS LINE (courtesy Westgate): Rams -3, O/U 48.5

BETTING TRENDS: The Seahawks have won and covered four straight. For the season, Seattle is an identical 7-2 SU and ATS - covering each game it's won. The Seahawks have also gone over in three straight. The Rams are also in on winning runs of 4-0 SU and ATS. Los Angeles is 7-2 SU and ATS this season, also covering every game it's won.

SEAHAWKS KEY PLAYERS: Quarterback Sam Darnold completed 10-of-12 attempts for 178 yards and one touchdown with an interception for a 111.8 rating last week. Darnold is looking for his ninth straight with a passing TD. He is tied for third in the AFC with 17 passing TDs and passing yards (2,262) this season. ... Running back Zach Charbonnet had a season- and team-high 83 rushing yards on 14 carries with a rushing TD last week. He has a rushing TD in two of the last three games. Charbonnet ranks tied for fifth in the NFC in rushing TDs (6) this season. ... Former LA receiver Cooper Kupp had 74 receiving yards, including a season-long 67-yard reception last week. He now aims for his second straight with a receiving touchdown on the road. ... Linebacker Tyrice Knight turned in eight tackles, three tackles for loss, two sacks and two forced fumbles last week. He is the only player with two or more sacks and two or more forced fumbles in one game this season. He aims for his third straight with eight or more tackles and a tackle for loss.

PROP TO WATCH: Jaxon Smith-Njigba Over 100 receiving yards (+100)

Smith-Njigba has been one of the best wide receivers in the NFL this season, ranking fifth with 63 receptions and No. 1 with 1,041 yards receiving. That's in nine games, giving him an average of 115.6 per game. He's topped the century mark in four of his last five games and six of nine overall. He'll face a mediocre passing defense that has allowed 1,944 yards passing - 1,411 of them to receivers. I don't see the Rams putting shackles on Smith-Njigba.

RAMS KEY PLAYERS: Quarterback Matthew Stafford passed for 280 yards and four touchdowns with no interceptions for a 127.1 rating last week. He became the first player in NFL history with four-plus TDs and no picks in 3 consecutive games. He ranks fourth in the NFL in passing yards (2,427). ... Running back Kyren Williams rushed for 73 yards on 14 carries and two touchdowns last week. He has 50 or more scrimmage yards in 37 straight games, the longest active streak in NFL. He now aims for his third in a row with a rushing TD. ... Wide receiver Davante Adams had six receptions for 77 yards and a touchdown catch last week, and now aims for his fourth in a row with a TD reception. He leads the NFL with nine receiving TDs this season. ... Cornerback Emmanuel Forbes had his second consecutive interception last week.

PROP TO WATCH: Kyren Williams anytime TD (-110)

Williams is the pulse of Los Angeles' rushing attack and has emerged as one of coach Sean McVay’s favorite weapons in key moments. Williams has tallied three touchdowns in his last two games, including a two-score showing against the 49ers last week. With eight total touchdowns to his credit, and another NFC West foe on the docket, there's no reason to turn your back on him this week.
