Goalkeeper Kailen Sheridan spearheaded the effort with several early saves that kept Seattle off the board, while San Diego controlled the tempo with 64 percent possession and generated multiple second‑half scoring opportunities — though none found the net.
The result marked the Wave’s seventh consecutive match unbeaten on the road, establishing a new club benchmark.
On the other end, Reign goalkeeper Claudia Dickey delivered a strong performance of her own, tallying four key saves and earning Player of the Match honors.
