LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Dodgers have recalled outfielder James Outman and placed infielder/outfielder Kiké Hernández on the injured list with left elbow inflammation.
Los Angeles has also selected the contract of right-hander Julian Fernández, optioned Justin Wrobleski back to Triple-A OKC, and to make room for Fernández on the roster, infielder CJ Alexander has been designated for assignment.

Outman, 28, is back with Los Angeles for his third stint after hitting .289 with 20 homers and 74 RBI with Triple-A Oklahoma City. He has appeared in nine games for Los Angeles this season, batting .125 with two homers and four RBI.
Hernández, 33, has played in 72 games this season, hitting .195 with eight homers and 22 RBI. He has played nine seasons in Dodger blue (2015-20, 23-), posting an 11.2 bWAR with 93 homers and 307 RBI in 899 games while playing eight different positions on the field.
Manager Dave Roberts mentioned on Saturday that there were growing concerns over the 33-year-old's elbow and that it had been affecting his swing over the past month. There is no timetable for Hernández's return at this time.
Fernández, 29, was 3-0 with a 4.08 ERA in 24 games with Triple-A Oklahoma City. He appeared in three Cactus League games with the Dodgers this season, allowing seven runs in 2.1 innings. He made his Major League debut in 2021 with Colorado and has not seen an MLB mound since, posting a 10.80 ERA with four strikeouts in 6.2 innings.
He originally signed with the Rockies as an international free agent on July 2, 2012, out of Boca Chica, Dominican Republic.
Wrobleski, 24, pitched 4.2 innings, allowing four earned runs against the Astros on Saturday. He has pitched in eight games for Los Angeles this season, posting a 4.50 ERA with 40 strikeouts in 40 innings. The southpaw is 12-12 with a 3.56 ERA in 67 minor league games.
