HONOLULU – Sharks, bite-sized.
The Hawaii Pacific University men’s basketball program will continue connecting with local keiki through the summer, holding the first-ever HPU Basketball Kids’ Camp from July 21-24 at the Shark Tank (2707 Pamoa Rd).
The four-day co-ed camp is open to both boys and girls, running from 9 a.m. to noon with instruction, skills training and competitive games run by Sharks players and coaches. Individual cost per participant is $200, including an HPU camp shirt along with the week of instruction.
Parents/guardians must complete a waiver for their children at the door on the first day to complete registration. For families registering multiple keiki, separate transactions are requested by the program for each individual participant.
There is a no-refund policy for this camp.

“I love being a part of a program that prioritizes giving back to the community,” HPU associate head coach Cam Flabel told HSRN. “In the last two years, we’ve been able to start our Shark Bite Mentorship program at Noelani and Manoa Elementary, along with holding free 1-day clinics for kids. We are super excited to be hosting our FIRST-EVER kids camp at the Shark Tank! Boys and girls up to 14 years old will have a blast learning from our players and staff.”
