LAS VEGAS — Caitlin Clark was the top vote-getter for the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game, while A’ja Wilson was among starters announced while Kelsey Plumm is likely to be a reserve.
Clark, the Indiana Fever sensation, received 1,293,526 fan votes — the most ever in WNBA history. She will serve as one of the two team captains for the July 19 WNBA All-Star Game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, alongside Minnesota Lynx star Napheesa Collier.
Wilson, a two-time league MVP from the Las Vegas Aces, was named a frontcourt starter for the seventh consecutive time. Her former teammate Plum will likely be a reserve, ranking seventh among backcourt players in the combined voting by fans (50%), players (25%) and media (25%).
Joining Clark in the backcourt are Dallas Wings rookie Paige Bueckers and New York Liberty guard Sabrina Ionescu. Bueckers topped the player and media voting overall, while Clark led by a wide margin in fan ballots.
The frontcourt top vote getters include Wilson, Collier, New York’s Breanna Stewart, Indiana’s Aliyah Boston, Seattle’s Nneka Ogwumike and Phoenix’s Satou Sabally.
The remaining WNBA All-Star reserves will be selected by the league’s head coaches and announced on July 6. Clark and Collier will then draft their teams from the pool of starters and reserves on July 8.
