LAS VEGAS -- The Vegas Golden Knights look to keep their season alive as they play game 5 in Vegas and must win if they still want to continue in the Stanley Cup playoffs in 2025. Vegas has yet to win a game at home this series, with both games ending in wins for the Oilers in Game 1 and in Game 2.
Vegas has yet to lose after a shutout in the postseason, and looks to try and continue the series heading into what would be the first time in franchise history they would need to overcome a 3-1 deficit to win this series.
This series marks the third time that the Golden Knights have been down 3-1 in a playoff series; the first one was in 2018 against the Capitals in the Stanley Cup Final, and the 2020 Western Conference Final against the Dallas Stars. In both series, the Golden Knights were unable to win, and the series ended in five games.
