INGLEWOOD, Calif. — The Clippers dominate after the half to pickup a comfortable 128-114 win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday night. Los Angeles pounced on Memphis after a hot start to take advantage of them playing without their star play Ja Morant. The Clippers are now 30-23 after the win and will be back at it tonight in a matchup with the Utah

Here are some takeaways from the Clippers win over the Grizzlies:

Huge 2nd and 3rd quarters help Clips take over the game

The Clippers came out slow in this matchup with Memphis.

They were outscored 39-28 in the first quarter as Memphis were the aggressors early on both ends.

The game shifted in the second quarter. Los Angeles outscored Memphis 38-24 to get themselves back in the game.

After the half, the Clippers continued the onslaught from the second quarter in the third. They started the quarter on a 25-7 run and didn’t let up.

Los Angeles scored 36 points in the quarter only allowing 21 from Memphis.

The Clippers were in control the rest of the way as they picked up the blowout win.

Bogdanovic produces in his first game with Los Angeles

Bogdan Bogdanovic played in his first game after being traded to the Clippers at the NBA Trade Deadline.

Bogdanovic chipped in 7 points, 2 rebounds, an assist and a steal in 18 minutes of action.

He was able to play some point guard late for Los Angeles as Kris Dunn dealt with an injury.

The former Atlanta Hawks forward went 3-for-4 with a couple moves that brought out some ohs and awes from the Intuit Dome crowd.

He will be a player to bring some added offense to the second unit which is in need of a bucket getter.

Clips takes care of home before hitting the road

The Clippers were playing in their last home game until March 5th when they face-off against the Detroit Pistons.

Los Angeles will travel to Utah tomorrow and play their next eight games away from the Intuit Dome.

They were able to end their three-game losing streak by winning the past two games.

They made sure they hit the road with this win by dominating a Grizzlies team that was on a second night of a back-to-back.

Before the game, coach Tyronn Lue talked about taking care of business tonight and his team did exactly that.
