LOS ANGELES -- Lebron James scored 21 points, 13 assists and 12 rebounds, and Anthony Davis scored 31 points and nine rebounds to lead the Los Angeles Lakers (5-4) over the Philadelphia 76ers (1-7) Friday night at crypto.com Arena before 18,485. The Lakers are undefeated at home (4-0) on the year.
James notched his 114th career triple-double and second on the season. He is 5th all-time.
Los Angeles shot efficiently on the night, shooting 52 percent from the field and 46 percent from the three-point line. Austin Reaves shot six-for-10 from the three-point line.
The Lakers led 68-60 at the half.
The Lakers contested shots throughout the night, out-blocking the Sixers 13-4.
Joel Embiid, the former league MVP, served the second game of his three-game suspension for shoving a journalist who commented on his late brother and son. Tyrese Maxey missed his first game of the season after injuring his hamstring. Maxey will miss two weeks.
Andre Drummond had 14 points and 12 rebounds, and Guerschon Yabusele had 14 points off the bench to lead Philadelphia.
Reaves scored 20 points, seven assists and six rebounds, and D'Angelo Russell scored 18 points off the bench.
