What's at stake? For the Chargers, this is an AFC matchup, so with the race being so tight for playoff spots they need another AFC victory to put them at 4-2 in the conference. No one below them has a better record in conference so they need to build on that.
For the Titans, a victory would put them back into the AFC wild card picture especially with how tight the race is right now. They are only two games behind the Broncos.
Who's better? The Chargers. They have a better quarterback, roster and head coach.
Matchup to watch: Chargers interior OL vs. Jefferey Simmons/T’Vondre Sweat. The Chargers interior offensive line has struggled this season and the Titans will know come Sunday. They are going to rely on Sweat and Simmons to disrupt the offensive flow and sack Herbert.
Chargers win if: they can consistently move the football on a stingy Titans defense. Consistency has lacked when describing the Chargers offense but they will need that to be the Titans. They are coming off beating the Patriots, so they will be motivated.
Fantasy sleeper: JK Dobbins. The Titans are middle of the pack in stopping the run, so expect a home run from Dobbins or two plus a touchdown.
